Plaza

For several years Heart to Honduras has owned a plot of land in the center of Canchias. The ministry has
envisioned helping Canchias develop this land into a community center where residents could come to
trade in an open plaza, learn various vocational skills, and avail themselves of a variety of community
services. The new Canchias Clinic, completed in fall 1999, was the first facility to be built on this property.
Heart to Honduras hopes soon to enhance the Clinic with landscaping and the addition of the plaza and
other community facilities.
