Sponsors Needed in January 2011 for new 2-year Class of Students

A 2010 graduate of the School of Discipleship, Angela will be investing her life with children in Peña
Blanca--working with a Brazos Abiertos church and Compassion International. At the HTH School of
Discipleship in Canchias, Honduras, Angela received one of the highest academic honors of her class. Her
radiant smile and huge heart for the Lord and for children make her a great fit for her role.

Jorge hopes to serve in t
he Proniño home for boys in El Progreso. Jorge is also a recent graduate and
came from a background of drugs and gangs before his life was transformed through Christ. Jorge wants to
work with young boys who could also end up in drugs and gangs without significant intervention. Jorge’s
large frame, huge heart and passion for the Lord will certainly get the attention of the young men at Proniño.

The SOD graduating class of December 2010 was the 10th for our School of Discipleship and scores of
former students are scattered across Central America and even parts of South America serving as pastors,
teachers, and ministry leaders in churches, orphanages and other areas. We are very grateful for those who
have sponsored these students over the past ten years!

This month we welcome another 20 students who begin their two-year training. We are praying for and
seeking “investors” in these lives. Heart to Honduras provides over $300 per month for each student for
their training, food, lodging and ministry experience. This will require $6000 per month to continue this
fruitful training for these 20 future ministry leaders. (Hmm...just compare that to North American college
expenses). We depend on generous sponsors to invest in the lives of these young people.
Will you invest
in a young life with your sponsorship of $200 (or more!)/month or perhaps a partial sponsorship
of $100/month?

VERY IMPORTANT: These commitments need to be above current giving to the general ministry of HTH.
Raising our annual budget is a huge challenge and re-directing current gifts does not add value to our
financial strength.

For those who invest in the life of one of the students you will receive information including their name,
background, photo and periodic updates. Your financial support is very important but no more important
than the prayer support you will be able to provide for your student as you receive prayer needs. You will be
encouraged to correspond with your student and will also have the opportunity to attend graduation at the
end of the two-year period.

For more information please contact Gordon Garrett at
ggarrett@hth.org or 937.372.3503. There are more
“Angelas” and “Jorges” arriving now in Canchias! Will you be a partner, an investor, in their lives?
