Stateside Staff
Allison Kast Eichenberg, Quest Director.
Allison first participated in a trip to Honduras in February 2002. She
was captivated by the passion of the ministry to go to the end of the
road and beyond, to hold onto a simple biblical mission that allowed
God to be God, as well as the beauty of the country, the people and
staff. Allison recalls on the bus ride from the airport to Canchias, Jim
Usher and Gordon Garrett asked her if she would consider coming
down that summer to help co-lead the summer program. As things
turned out she ended up leading the summer program and fell in love
with it. Since 2002, Allison has been involved with leading, recruiting,
organizing and planning what has come to be the summer servant
leadership training program, known as Quest.
In 2004, Allison moved to Honduras, living there around 9 months.
She taught English to the SOD students, helped create an electronic
pharmacy record for the clinic, led North American teams and worked as a translator. Allison says living in
Honduras taught her so much; it humbled her, stretched her faith and increased her passion both for
missions and for the people in Honduras.
Allison has her undergraduate degree from Anderson University and is currently working on her M.Div. from
Fuller Theological Seminary. She was married August 25, 2007 to Jim Eichenberg and loves being
married. Until recently she and Jim were the youth pastors at Mountain Park Community Church. They both
are passionate about missions.
Allison is serving part time from her home in Phoenix, AZ. She is excited to once again be on staff with
Heart to Honduras.
